Hi guys,
being an older raver and not really being up to date with mixing with cdj's, i just wanted to ask where do you get the tunes from cd to play out at events, etc.?
Do you have to download em & then burn em or do ya buy the tunes in record shops as i used to for vinyl?
Also, how much would a pair cdj's cost me? and from where?
cheers

I bought CDJay once, but he didn't like it when I tried to plug the mixer into him, so I returned him.

Audio-X: Its sad when things doesn't work the way you wanted :(
Did you use an RCA or earphone connector? :)
CDj's (and software mixers) are propably the most versale (?) utility you can use when you mix. You're not bond to one format when you buy your tracks. Well technically you are, but... just as you said, record and burn :P

Wrong input, sir. Wrong input.
@LA:
Here's a nice list of digital download stores:
http://globalhardcorealliance.com/links/ As for which CDJs, search the forums. If you need decent quality budget ones, Citronic's MPCD-S3 (around 175 GBP for one) is a good choice. For rock-solid simplicity get Pioneer 100s (250 GBP). If you want to spend more, you can get top-notch stuff from Pioneer and Denon.

Not had a go on it yet but Serato looks like the best option to me. Using Vinyl to control your MP3s - best of both.
Like i said not had a go on it yet but when i got the £££ i know what i'd rather spend it on.
