I love the show, I just bought Season 3. I will admit, it does get a little repetitive, but then something so random happens you cant help but laugh your ass off. Dave Jesser & Matt Silverstein, are they the same creators of South Park, or is it just Matt Silverstein? I know the creators of South Park just signed a contract to make South Park episodes til 2011, so I dont see how Matt could have left Comedy Central if he is working on South Park?

seriously? to me drawn together seemed like an attempt to cash in on south park's over the top humor by increasing the number/offensiveness of bathroom/sex jokes, and in the process removing any trace of humor.. couldn't stand it

Comedy is pretty much dead.
1. The sitcom is dead. The very, very few ones that still run are complete trash (i.e. according to jim)
2. Seems like all comedy movies that are coming now are getting bad ratings and reviews... die hard fans of people like mike meyers and etc. say they're awesome, but still...
3. Shows like SNL, Mad TV, etc. suck a lot more than they usually do (and they usually suck to begin with, but there still have been funny moments)
4. Pretty much all comedy shows on television were using jokes that had been told hundreds of times now, and were boring, and not exactly funny any more. Now it's just gone down to sexual and bathroom jokes.
I guess we all just ran out of ideas. There ARE still funny moments but in my eyes right now, the comedy genre is out of gas. More proof, people are getting a lack of comedy so they expect every single damn video on sites like Youtube be comedy videos... just for example, one idiot commented "this isn't even funny faggot u suck" on a video showing how to install an intel processor...!?
By the way, I'm not saying all of it is complete crap. There are still funny moments.

MadTv changed writers, and this new cast just doesn't mix well together. I mean, you dont see guys in drag on the show, you dont see "Stewart" anymore on the show. It seems that after season 10, the show just went downhill. That whole "24/7 With Bobby Lee" skits are just a waste. MadTv has turned more into letting the comeddy actors have their "spotlight" instead of actually acting, and it stinks!
Meph, I will agree, there are a lot of times, especially season 2 of Drawn Together, where the situations are just too drawn out!!! But...it still has a place in my heart. I can honestly say that Drawn Together, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, & South Park have warped my sense of humor!

http://www.comedycentral.com/videos/index.jhtml?videoId=12073&title=the-prank There are some episodes, like the 1st one, where Princess Clara makes out with the black chick and sings about it. http://www.comedycentral.com/videos/index.jhtml?videoId=12063&title=the-kiss And she also sings the bully song! http://www.comedycentral.com/videos/index.jhtml?videoId=12069&title=claras-friends And Clara's Jesus doll http://www.comedycentral.com/videos/index.jhtml?videoId=78374&title=jesus-speaks

hahahaha oh wow what an impression on american media
as of now it seems there is just a lack of original content in the comedy genre
half of the movies that come out just plain suck, and pretty much try to scrape in all the money it can from theater ticket sales by looking rather decent in previews/commercials
The Love Guru managed to look absolutely awful in the previews
