95_was_the_time like others have said, get off your arse and do something then, if you really DO believe - in the rather flawed theory - hardcore is going to go belly-up. Get into producing. Let your creativity and imagination flow. Just because styles and the ways things are done have changed doesn't mean the hardcore scene is killing itself.

Also, why do you have "**** off darren styles" in your sig? His stuff isn't complete trash. I've seen some interesting tracks from him.

If hardcore dies, will 95_was_the_time leave us alone?

Secondly, they don't care about a few moaners on the internet, as long as they can turn the hardcore scene into somthing like ****ing disney land... (tricking your mind into CREATED-anthems, anthems aren't made, they're found.) were monkey brained brainwashed chavs (woo cn only typ lyk tht cuz there ***** fick) spend they're money on pointless cds (what a complete waste of plastic too) then they're happy.
I say, raise your fist in the air, and if you dj or produce, fight them!! we should run the scene together as 1.

back in the early 90s, hardcore scene was like a patchwork quilt, kids with nothing but an akai sampler in their bedroom. the hardcore scene now is nothing but a joke. and the jokers are running out of ideas.

Gabber isn't new and freeform is getting on a bit as well. :P Jumpstyle is linked to Hard Style really which came from Hard Trance. Not really a Hardcore subgenre (despite the fact it's pretty much slow nu-style Hardcore these days).

happy hardcore isnt produced anymore. just because the site is called that, does that mean thats what we got to stick to?

if music genres stayed the same and didnt progress then the whole music industry would of died a long long time ago. hardcore is and has to keep up with the times, looks like u cant mate

I think 2009 could be a good year & im waiting to start producing some full on Bouncy Techno or old style Gabber & maybe if I try hard enough, Bouncy Freeform!

All my tracks will have hard kicks anyway but im not expecting anything to happen over night!

As for Sy I myself have lost interest, I like the old Quash sound of 1995 but even then prefer the 95 sound of Evolution, Twisted Vinyl, Dwaf, Babyboom, Rotterdam & Poosh to name a few...

In ten years time do you think there will be someone called 2008_was_teh_time wishing Hardcore was like the 2000s? Do you think there was a 1985_was_the_time ten years ao wishing House music was like it was in Chicago at the time before the British toke over?

New mix is coming along nicely btw, guys! You should download it yourself, 95 as there will be loads of tracks from the mid 90s era & even some from as early as 1992!
