I've thought long and hard about this but to cut a long theory short - hardcore won't survive if the scene is puppetmastered and dollhoused by a collective of 10 stuborn men. yes, they kick started it off around 1996, some before. but surely for a scene to go you need people with more imagination and enthusiam for the music and not for the $$$ (dj Sy for example... or is that, dj Sigh, cause im so bored of his mediocore "hardcore")
Secondly, they don't care about a few moaners on the internet, as long as they can turn the hardcore scene into somthing like ****ing disney land... (tricking your mind into CREATED-anthems, anthems aren't made, they're found.) were monkey brained brainwashed chavs (woo cn only typ lyk tht cuz there ***** fick) spend they're money on pointless cds (what a complete waste of plastic too) then they're happy.
I say, raise your fist in the air, and if you dj or produce, fight them!! we should run the scene together as 1.

back in the early 90s, hardcore scene was like a patchwork quilt, kids with nothing but an akai sampler in their bedroom. the hardcore scene now is nothing but a joke. and the jokers are running out of ideas.

i actually agree. hardcore is flooded with remixes of remixes and sub par crap that its pretty much the same song being made over and over again.

Oh and get a new name dude. LIVE IN THE NOW! 95 is dead! 2009 is where its at!!!

don't forget "Everybody's free" it's not only remixed in hardcore so many damn times but other electronica genres as well!!! and yea cold as ice never liked the song not even the original 80s version

and as far as this goes :Secondly, they don't care about a few moaners on the internet
you're kind of right, and not. it's not that they don't care, it's that they can't and will not satisfy everyone out there on the market. that's impossible. I'm majoring in public relations and you basically can't market your products to please everyone. of course they are going to appeal to what the majority wants. like Spok said, "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few"

and also, i would find it extremely disturbing that there was hardcore out there that satisfied everyone. as much as you are a pain in the ass 95WasTheTime, you are a good example of why we all don't act alike and think alike. here where i'm at, it is sad that I dont' have anyone to share my music with, but I enjoy that as well. I don't want to end up like all of my friends and listen to hiphop just because all of their friends do. so enjoy the diversity of hardcore, stick to your favorite stuff, and be happy! whatever happened to PLUR?!?!?

mate 95_was_the_time clearly has issues but not everyone posts just to rattle peoples cages, everyone has different tastes & people should respect others right to their views :o) 95_was_the_time on the other hand seems to me like a very messed up guy.
