recently bought the hardcore heaven weekender 2008 cds and dvds. was pleased 2 c i was featured performing in the the mc comp and my m8 was caught chatting nonsense 2 the film crew but why was there no scott brown cd or any of his set featured on the dvd. is it because he has his own cd and dvd comin out and doesn't want them 2 clash. does he demand more money 4 as his name would attract more custom. if any1 knows then pls tell me as it was a wkd set and i was disapointed i'll never hear it again. ps also peeved that the hixxy set was from sunday and not the friday nite set wiv storm n whizkid, 1 of the highlights of the weekender

as far as I know djs don't get any money from the dvds/cds/tape packs that come from events. his set may not of been recorded, had problems in the recording, or just didn't make the cut.

Im pretty sure scott said once on ush that he isnt givin his premision 2 b recorded as djs nor the producers get paid 4 their tunes being played and the promoters take all the money from cd, dvd, tape pack sales. I may b wrong tho

this was the case in the tapepack era! but now the promoters are concentrating on the CD pack releases! which mainly involves the DJ playing their own stuff or label stuff in a mix, and then getting some payment when the mix is released by the promoter!

CD packs are illegal recordings a few producers including Scott Brown refused to allowed themselves to be recorded.
