It sounds like a typical 1995 Happy Hardcore track but it is two years older yet uses the hard kicks which at the time where not known much in the UK although Newcastle & Scottish artists where picking up on it but in England Happy Hardcore was the breakbeat Jungle stuff with speed up vocals, painos & fairground effects (which has already been discussed)
Ilsa Gold are also Austrian & I have never heard of any other artists from Austria! This track could have been played in 95 or even 97 & had been thought of as new yet it is from 1993, making it ahead of itself! On discogs it is not classed as Happy Hardcore although many people would have thought it was lol
It is a good track btw but I don't know the lyrics lol

Suppose right smoogie always thought was bit later like 94/95 cos of the sound of it. Jus one of first tracks takin english happy sound combined with the european.
I like it anyway, really catchy
*edit
lyrics are from Cat Stevens song Smoogie
I listen to the wind
To the wind of my soul
Where I'll end up well I think,
Only God really knows

^^^ Thats a really good track, Ionosphere! Sounds like the Scottish stuff from two years later! Never heard an English artists (other than Bass Generator) use hard kicks before 1994! Love the old skool vibe in there as well!

Smoogie! Why do you itemise hardcore like it has a barcode? just because you've heard a lot of tracks that sound similar from a country or year, it doesn't mean thats where it came from or started! there are millions of tracks released that non of us will ever hear! Its because of you I've started my 1992 thread! lol!
