Disk 1 mixed by recon

Not good in my opinion. Don't really like any of the tracks
2-9 are just not up to standard.

10 and 11 are not bad. atleast get laid has a bit of a different beat sound compared to nowadays. As for the rest! they don't do it for me.

Only track 15 - you will see catches my interest but isn't anough to make the disk worth playing through.

Disk 2 mixed by squad-e

Well track 1 never like Mcs on tracks It's bad and no exeptions (especially wizzkid)
track 2- way tooo dramatic lyrics
track 3- long long long long must be most repetitve lyric ever. You'd never forget the track name
track 4- My god no
track 5- No better than the last 400 remixes of the track
track 6- nope
track 7- the YES! YES! is a bit two unlimited
track 8- Not bad! first one without camp lyrics
track 9- refer to track 1. Pls no Mc's on tracks
track 10- Glad this track is on here as i have wanted it for a while. Only thing that peeves me off is it is a clearly a remix of angel eyes by brisk and ham and should be credited as it.
track 11- dramatic overdone end of the world lyrics :(
track 12-14 o.k
track 15- O.k in my opinion possibly one of the greatest hardcore tracks of all time! however bonkers 16 disk 1 track 12 mmmm a track from two years ago and claiming it as new just aint on i'm afraid! you should be ashamed of yourself.
track 16- aint bad.

Didn't even look at disk 3 wasn't worth the 5 mins of my life

In short none of these will make it onto my ipod. Not to say they are all bad. There are 10 or so decent tracks but none of em are good. "lost without you doesn't count" because it's a 2006 track when quite frankly things were better. if i had heard the cd before i bought it i would not have to be honest and the half decent tracks i'd not lose sleep over not having.
If i was recon and squad-e i would go home and take a look in the mirror and wouldn't have to wonder why they aint as good as the big name djs like SB, brisk, Sy etc

If I could sum it up in one sentence it would be "Where has all the talent gone??"

after years of buying anything remotely related to hardcore in the CD releases, I'm now just not going to waste money on these albums! didn't buy true hardcore 2 either! and the second CD on HN NG was pants aswell! and Live Wired is a waste of time! spent a bit more this year importing CD's instead! I can see Bonkers 18 being Hixxy ,Styles and Scott Brown releasing more shite for AATW!

Only some good tunes in there but I don't like how albums put old songs on them that we have heard before!

Ok, why didnt you just sample the cd 1st on Juno before paying for it? Unless you just wanted it for collection purposes.

HN:NG disk one was amzing IMO. :P Much better than disk 1 (although there was a few amazing tracks on there). Kurt & JR's intro nearly made my cringe myself to death! Dear me.

I wont be buying this HTID CD. Didn't get True Hardcore 2 either (or the first one). I'll just get the tracks I like on vinyl or LDL and make my own CD's to listen to. No point in buying CD's if they're not varied and interesting, I'd be bored after a few tracks.

what gets me is that the 3rd cd is ment to be a best of HTID yet none of the other tracks have appeared on any other HTID cd, apart from you're shining!!!!

more to the point, this should be called the hardcore remix album, as thats what it is - havnt got mine yet but will doe over the course of the week, not in no rush to get it

Bought mine today. Would personally give it 7/10. Didn't expect it to be any higher really so wasn't disappointed. Will probably flick through instead of listening to the whole disc as most of the choons sound the same nowadays & i hate MC'in in tracks & male vocals too.

They should stop releasing all of these crappy mix compliations imo, and just release cds with the full 12" single on them.

I can dream.
