I've just had mine grow through. Do they have to be removed or is it just if they're causing problems?
that just made me think of that scene in family guy where stewie's teething. I clame this mouth in the name of IN-CIIII-SOOOOR lol.

I'm supposed to be booking an appointment to have 3 taken out. I've been putting it off! Not nice from what I've heard.

Most peoples cause a problem I'm afraid mate. You should go to your dentist regularly! I would rather go frequently for checkups than every few years to have major work carried out!

Tell your dentist that you don't do pain.
The injection won't hurt much and if it does it'll only be slight and momentary and then you'll probably have to wait until it takes full effect.
If it hurts when the dentist starts to pull it go, Arghh! and say "No! ....more injection please".
Afterwards, because you've been a brave girl, you can have an Ice Cream.
Within a day or two your gum will be a bit pudgey but won't hurt and within a week you'll be right as ninepence.

Yeah my dentist does that.
He always asks if i can deal with pain in my mouth. I always say no.
He injects me, and my face goes numb, and he gets to work.
It hurts, he stops, injects me again, and my face gets more numb hahaha.
BTW wisdom teeth removal is surgery. Everyone i know thats had it done was put un general and went home with some percocet (sp?)
