First off i know Mc's are pretty much hated on here but oh well
So anyway just a quick demo iv recorded over a Dj Sc@r mix, dont worry i asked her permission before hand. Its over her Hard Energy set that was posted up here a while back.
A few notes:
Yes this was recorded in a bedroom so not exactly the biggest party atmosphere but i think i do a good job of getting hyped up as much as possible lol. But you can be assured i was still stomping my tits off when i was doing this lol
The original recording was knocked out of sync from opening and closing files on the computer so i went through and tried to sync it all up as much as possible.
The reason i was opening files on the pc was because the majority of the lyrics are new material im trying to memorize atm.
And this is in no way a "Serious" demo or anything just a bit of fun yesterday while i was on the mic and i decided to record it :)
So Enjoy.....or not whatever lol :P
Leave feedback please and if you feel the need to say im wank then please try to do it in a constructive manner

vocals could be sharpened and upped abit but good nontheless, good to see the mic I ordered off ebay is working for ya lol
Still got the constipation thing going on in the voice, you should really thing about some wheat-a-bix bruva.

Nah this is the one from ages ago, but im tempted to do a new one. I know it sounds stupid but since iv been Mcing live i do feel iv improved so might be tempted to redo it, got a hell of a lot of new material and re-wrote and tweaked alot of stuff.

fingaz, i've got a wicked idea for you. do you know any of the posters on this forum in person? what you may try is going to a friends house, plugging into their mixer, having them mix records while you mc over it and record it.
that way, the dj can work off of you, and you could work off the dj and it doesn't seem canned like if you were to be soundforging your vocals over a pre recorded mix.
give it that live feel. or even record a live set at a house party so that you have the live feel along with a bit of crowd interaction.
as a promoter, booking a dj involves listening to mixes and sometimes different mixes of the same dj to see how they play different styles.
also, if i were to be booking an mc, i would want to hear how he or she sounds on a legit mix where he or she actually took place in the mix rather than being superimposed on the mix, know what i mean?
if you do that and upload it, i'm sure it would have a better following and popularity.
it would in essence be your demo because you would be the frontman and the dj would just be your selectah.
give it some thought, i think that would be the most creatively sound approach to it.
