load a sampler then click on that folder icon on left and go to your sample and load it.

what sort of samples are they? you can just drag samples on from an open folder. If you're using "pitch sensitve" samples (leads, bass, etc) though. you're better using a sampler to load them into.

What i do is right click the user folder and explore and then copy and paste the samples into there and then they are there to use whenever

on the step sequencer, right click say the kick or clap for eg scroll to > insert > click audio clip
then, back in the step sequencer, right click the audio clip & click Load sample & browse to where ever your sample pack is
or paste the sample pack in the 'packs' folder.
you'll find this by folders...
Program files > image-line > FL Studio (7/8 whatever) > Data > Patches > Packs
if the file is zip or rar they have to opened first mind.... dunno how new you are to this so...

Just MP3's from my media library. I have all my CD collection in there. Saves ruining the CD's then. Don't worry all bought & paid for proper copies. :)

Why would you want to load a full track into a sequencer? *Confused*
