Ok, so as many of you will know, I have recently launched NSR Records. Things are going well and alot of good producers have submitted tracks.
Now i am trying to put together a DJ Mailing list. So heres the deal:
Im looking for 10-15 DJs who play at live events regularly and/or on internet radio. You will recieve all the NSR releases completely free of charge! In return, I would expect you to do a quick brief review of each track, and play the ones that you liked in your live sets. If anyone asks you about the track you simply tell them who it is by and that it can be bought on various websites.
This is basically to give NSR a good base of DJs who are willing to get the tracks out there in a live arena and give a bit of feedback about how it went down. Remember you will receive all the newest releases for FREE, however you will have to sign a contract to say that you will not fileshare the mp3 with anyone else!
if you are interested please visit http://www.nsrrecords.co.uk and contacts us at [email protected] (you will get a reply quicker by emailing me than by PMing me) Cheers

Unfortunately not mate. I do plan vinyl releases, but only next year. As i cant risk paying £100s to get loads of vinyls pressed and the song flopping, but hopefully our best releases will make a vinyl release next year, at which point a select few DJs from our mailing list will recieve those for free.
For now though, its just free MP3s, that the public have to pay for

IMO,
Vinyl would be a pain and loss of money. No one uses vinyl for hardcore these days. Digital is the way now! :)

That is why if i release vinyl it would only be next year, there would have to be a high demand for one of our releases to go on vinyl before i did it, because even though i dont expect to make a profit yet, i dont expect to lose loads either.

That's a crop of shit I'm afraid mate. :) I use (mainly) vinyl and know loads of people who do. Sure, it's hard to make much (if any) money from a hardcore vinyl label but it can be done. Hardcore MP3 labels don't make sod all. Not enough sales. Think 50 sales is a good figure for a hardcore DL. About 1000-1500 for vinyl. Do the maths.
I will say though. You will only make vinyl work with amazing tracks and some damn good marketing!
So basically. MP3 = anyone can sell and make a profit because there is no risk or overheads. You will likely make about £20-£30 a track on average if you're lucky though. Vinyl = higher risks but better gains if you can make it work.

the reason i use LESS vinyl is bcuz the clubs here are switching to cdj's and get rid of their turntables.. its like WTF? we're gnna end up dragging our own gear with us..
na man.. vinyl is the way =] tho cdj's have their cool functions :) but yea.. giving away free vinyl is a waste of money ... i wudnt advice that to redwingz ^^

I think that depends on it what country you are in. In Sweden there and more unlikely they dont have vinyl then cdjs.

I play at raves almost every weekend. However, I don't know if I'd play your tracks out since I've never heard them...

Vinyl will keep Hardcore ALIVE!!!
MP3's will not I'm afriad.
Where ever brisk get his vinyls pressed I would love to know becuase they are absolute QUALITY Vinyls.
I dont want the scene to shift to totally digital.
Im am worried that artists will try to do hardcore in for the money and release poor quality MP3's and I think its happening allready.
Back On topic, I emailed to get any free MP3's for promotional use XD
