I know its a long title, but all the DJ's now seem to make other forms of dance music more and more! Is this why there is so much crap coming out? To me its a case of lets get into other forms in case the bubble bursts! which also to me means less time is spent on hardcore music and more time is spent on other dance music productions! and also who do you think is the best at it? anyway rant over!

I think a lot of it is producers wanting to try out different things. It doesn't hurt if a producer starts making trance alongside hardcore, as long as they keep making the core.

Nothing wrong with expanding your taste. I'm sure everyone on here likes other styles of music and that's deemed acceptable so why is producing in other styles not?

Here here. It wil also ave a roll on effect into the core as they wil bring new things into hardcore from other dance forms. As long as it sounds good i dont care what genre it isquote:

I like loads of different types of music so when I started making tunes I started fiddling around with every genre I like. I assume that's the way it is for anyone who makes tunes...

As a producer its hard to keep motivated to do the same genre... no matter how much you love it.
Sometimes other genres is a way to get the creative juices flowing and to draw inspiration from.
