hello im new here. great site, some interesting topics i like it here!
i have a question, does anyone here use chords when laying down notes on things like the piano roll on fruity loops?

Yes, you should use chords for pads and backing melodies. Make sure you've got plenty of CPU power if you're using synths though.

of course, a definite and a must.
pads, strings, piano chords......
although as synesthesia corectly pointed out, alot of latency tends to occur..
