I love the olympics but don't watch much tbh. I love the fact that people that are amateurs have a chance at glory in sports that don't provide a living. They do the sport purely out of the love of it. Not like kayaking and shit can pay the bills. I'd prefer to watch a talented amateur enjoying themselves doing the sport they love at a chance of glory than overpaid spoilt wankers in professional sports.

That's the reason I believe their's such a unity in the olympics because people are coming together doing the sports they love.

My 2 pence.
