right to put it straight im 16 me and my mates are bored and we are craving a hardcore event to go to!!!
we live in the manchester area and are looking at few events to go to i.e core opening doo..
i was wondering! is it worth it! would we be able to get in if we look 16 and under..?
or is it not worth bothering..
(to be fair we do look quite old compared to our real ages, im 6foot and heavily built for instance.)

you won't get id'd. I've seen literally kids runnin round ion raves in central. they want every head in they can get to get as much money for the venue as possible trust me.
also if you have any female mates with you, that'd pretty much guarantee you get through.
Bouncers don't like groups of lads at the best of times, so having a few birds with you as well will really make the extra difference. Plus yea what jax said, have an emergency back up of something else to do.

Even if you could try borrowing an older friends ID? A few of my mates used to do that and got away with it when we were all underage. If we got buffed then it was because of me not having any ID . I've always looked older than I was, but I rarely got ID'd.
Take some girls along if you can too. Bouncers are far more likely to ID a group of guys than they are to ID a group of girls.

dude, i was/am 17 and have gotten into Tiny and Tokyo Pop (New York/Chicago) and it was easy. pay with a card and get in. i had a drivers license, don't know if that helped.
