sometimes vocals piss me off, so i'm wondering if there's a way to either remove them or get an accapella-less version?
hip hop vinyl has this kind of thing sometimes, it would be cool if hardcore followed suit, cuz let's face it - sometimes the vocals just kill a track.

you have to agree that from the producers point of view that it would be a pretty easy thing to do.
i think it would be great to have that option or accapellas included with vinyl releases. i remember heaven 7 did something like that once on a vinyl for a contest and i thought it was a pretty cool idea. not sure what ever happened with it actually...
i dunno. i think that it could fill the wasted space on a vinyl, i'd buy vocal-less mp3s if they were available.

well, if the track was supposed to have vocals in it and they were removed there would be an obvious element missing and the track would be pretty boring. kinda like an instrumental hip hop song. take away the vocals and you just have the same thing going over and over again.

Nope sorry, but there is a way to get the vocal only... IF you have an instrumental version of the same track. Chuck it a sound editor and create a delta file of the two, basically it compares the two audio tracks and spits out the difference, in this case it would spit out an acappella.

Could you not do the same thing with an acapella and the original track leaving you with an instrumental? :)
