You might be think 'wtf! Who would walk out of a rave?' but as you know my music tastes are very strict & my local rave scene is all 'Upfront UK Hardcore'
While at a rave once & about to come up on a pill after being stiched up by other people & started to feel edgey! There where chavs all drinking their pints (harmless though) & the usual MCing over all the good bits I felt sad thinking 12 years ago it would have all been thumping Hardcore that I like (especially in Scotland & the Netherlands)
But no my generation only wanted to have popcore so after threwing up (in the toilets) a bouncer came & spotted me against the wall (a right bastard I later found out) & escorted me out! After walking the streets & making a phone call to a few people I headed home & listened to some classics on my I-pod! It was so much more fun that scetching out at a popcore rave when I had one of my own in my room! The pills where really good & chilling out by myself wasn't so bad!
Anyone else walked out of a rave (or been thrown out) due to it being not what you wanted?

i've walked out of a few. some parties in the states leave a lot to be desired. some people throw parties on shoestring budgets and it really shows sometimes.

I've walked out of many.
By walking out, you mean being bored and leaving right?
I've walked out of stadium raves like Transmission but they're trance orientated, when i'm done seeing who i wanna see i'll leave.
I've left alot of the big Happy raves before it finished as of late because i've been way too scat or just too tired in general.
And i've walked out of a fair few undergrounds! Man there was this one i went to called Rave Valley 2, there were fights left and right, cloak room was nothing more than a unsecured corner where people threw their bags (and consequently had their bags stolen), rooms were so hot and sweaty, it was way too packed, no vibe. Nobody puts on a good underground party anymore....

yup, i have.
sometimes they just suck that much.
what sucks even more is having to stay at some shyte party on account of your friends or not having anywhere to go afterwards (except with said friend).
yeah unfortunately, people throw crap parties sometimes.

and that's all the more reason to get better at DJing so you can go there and give em all a taste of where today's music came from.

can't really say i've ever "walked out" of a party, unless you count bookings where i just wanted to play and go =P but a couple buddies of mine did get thrown into a rave once for being too much trouble on the sidewalk =P

it was one of the Uproar events, i had just been oldskoolin' it up to dj tango. wicked set, i was like, 1 out of 10 dancing when he was on! the shocking news was the main arena was packed (wtf? how is ukhardcore better then oldskool) anyway. last set of the night was dj sy, it was a total yawn from the 1st vinyl (oops, CD) he put on. So i went outside and went on the "megaspin" fairground ride for that entire set.
