I dont generally download mixes but thought i would as you are a fellow MC.

To be honest I wasnt too keen. The music completely drowned you out at times making it hard to hear you never mind try and tell what u wer sayin.

The lyrics didnt fit in with the beat either, I cant tell wether you were finishing a sentence before or after the end of each bar. I think u wer tryna say too much in a single bar and you just ended up tryna blend the different bars in the track rather than taking your breath at the end of each bar.

You dont MC over the words which is really good and you seem to have lyrics rather than going be debe de de mena mena meeee, so stick wiv it.

You just need to work on timing. You wernt out of time on every single rhyme you did, it was maybe about half the time.
You could try MCing to donk first (just cause its such a simple beat) and a bit slower and that will help your timing.

Theres a couple of my things on the player on that myspace page. Its only fair that you get to listen to me with all the criticism Ive gave, so have a listen to that, my timing is generally pretty good im told, so that will demonstrate my point. Let me know what u fink

You need more power in your voice and you're not very clear. It doesn't help that the mic is sounding badly eq'ed. Timing was sloppy too.

Mixing is a bit sloppy too. :( Bad timing, out of loop, mixing with compilation albums that are already mixed...

Sorry if that's all a bit negative but trying to give you something to work with.

dreemmc with regards to the bars whta should i b counting inbetween each breath?? i do have an idea but just wanted some clarity on it m8. lovin ya promo by tha way on myspace. keep it up man.
with regards to the mix that was a friend of mine known as dj wozzcot.
plz keep feedback and advice coming.

I cant explain, you dont need to count anything tho, you can just feel when its the end of a bar.

Basically a song goes:
1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4 (each number is a kick drum)

each sentence that you spit should finish on the fourth kick drum like one of my rhymes below:

Boom, like a propane cannister
Bang your head off the wall and bannister

Cannister and bannister are said on 4. Obviously the second line is longer than the first, but it works cause there is a little pause after the word 'boom'

So yeah, each rhyming word should be on the fourth beat, so 4, 8, 12, 16 etc.

You can then get more complicated by making 2, 4, 6, 8 rhyme, like:
all tight, i ride
on the mic, one time (as an example)

tight, ride, mic and time would come on 2, 4, 6, 8

They were both ****in mint! its not until you are stood next to someone watching them do it that you realise how hard it is and that not just any1 can do it
