That's right, I've done my own mix! I will be honest here, I used virtual DJ, so I am not promoting OR calling myself a DJ! This was just a fun little thing I put together. I do own the cds I got the tracks off of though, so none of the tracks were downloaded for free. The mix contains 17 tracks, 15 Dutch/German, 2 UK. So if you love the older sound, check it out! PM for a tracklisting, but I am sure most of you old skoolers know all the tracks!

Sounding good.

Good stuff for your first mix, beat matching is pretty much spot on and good choice of tracks. Maybe work on timing a little more.

for a first mix, i have to say it's very good.

niiiiice track selection, some great, unheard-of-anymore classics in there. got me dancing in my bedroom for a few seconds.

all i can say is that some of the transitions could have been faster, some of the songs went on too long, but other than that everything was spot on.

suggestion: get some decent equipment dude.

If hes a begginer there is nothing wrong with VirtualDJ...

Real decks cost a ton, you have to be sure you want to take it up as a hobby before you make that sort of investment.

And plus, I work 3 days a week and go to college full time, so money is kind of tight. Like I said, it was just something fun to do, and if you are refering to "31 Seconds of Your Time" being the track that went on too long, I liked the way it sounded with "Burnin' Love", so I tried my best to blend it, rather than mix out of it.

i meant that more so in the way that he has good taste and he should maybe think seriously about making it a more serious hobby beyond just virtual DJ.

i was am just suggesting he take the plunge and get real equip so he can maybe share this with more people aka at a party or something.

disregard my "virtual DJ. ew" comment.
