anyone know there anime on here?
looking for recomendations on some real good anime horror/vampire/viloent kind of stuff i love anything to do with vampires so that would be top.
now i presume violent adult anime exists???ive never seen any anime before but would like to watch some adult cartoons so presumed this would be a place to start.

Manga would be a good place to start. I guess maybe it's not technically anime but meh. Ninja scroll is an awesome film. Think there is also an Anime series of it but no idea what it's like?
I watch my fair share of Anime but I'm more into the funny, sci-fi and light-hearted things so not much help really. :P

agree with bulby on both the ninja scroll is awsome nd liking the funny ones better =]
adult hmm.. =p try bible black ;) as for vampire.. bleach, rosario (not sure bout that one), death note (great serie! :) my fav), dn angel (i really liked that one), not sure bout ghost in a shell.. thought was sumting horrorish aswell

I'm glad someone's started a topic on anime! I'm a huge fan of anime as u can probably tell with my DJ name! lol like bulby & bug said, 'Ninja Scroll' is one of my all time favorite. It has everything you'd want from a manga. A bit of japanese history with the blood & gore of any good manga but also the characters & music is outstanding & is a film I will never tire of. Jubei trying to tackle the 8 devils of kimon all by himself. Awesome stuff!
Another great manga, which was never released on DVD, is 'Fist of the North Star' I am lucky enough to have this on VHS in mint condition & I will never lose this gem. If you like your manga's then Fist is a must watch!
If your looking for a manga with Vampires MJ Dream, it has to be 'Vampire Wars' this is an awesome old manga & if your into that sort of stuff, your going to love this;-)
Also, i'm not sure if anyone else watches these animes but the producer is called Mayazakai & his films are out of this world. The drawings, scores & settings of these films in groundbreaking & well worth a watch. They are nothing like as scary & gory as some mangas but they are anime at it's best. A few of these to look out for is: 'Spirited Away' 'Princess Mononoke' 'Kiki's Delivery Service' 'Howel's moving castle' & loads more. Make sure you check these out mate;-)
If anyone wants to know anymore about other manga/animes, let me know as i've got a huge collection of them, DVD & VHS, & i'll let u know what I think of them.
Oh yeah, Golgo 13 is a must watch aswell!

Have over 200 anime DVD's, but havent really bought anything for the past 2 years, probably cause my visa has been maxed for the past 2 years :(

As bulby not really into that sorta stuff. But just to be clear, are we talking about adult anime as in stuff like "Blade" or what adult anime really means (Hentai) as in giant tentacle monsters sexually assaulting young girls?
Anyway i assume you mean the former, so theres few series you might like (havent yet seen them myself, but their usually recommended by many):

This Hellsing looks pretty good actually. I'll need to check this out.
Make sure you check out 'Vampire Wars' out MJ dream. If you like vampire films, this is deffo one to watch.
& if u can get a hold of 'Fist of the North Star' then this is well worth another watch. This has to be one of the most violent but still holds a solid storyline throughout. 10/10

Not a big fan of the fantasy Anime like the vampire stuff. Got "Hellsing" but never watched it but it is very popular. "Vampire Hunter" film series are supposed to be good aswell.
My personal favourites:
Ghost in the Shell - Everything about this series is top notch.
Paranoia Agent - One long amazing mind ****. Astounding how such a complex storyline can fit into a 13 20 minute length series. Satoshi Kon is a master.
Full Metal Alchemist - Very compelling story and characters.
Princess Mononoke - Ghibli's best, better than Spirited Away aswell.
Spriggan - Great action movie with an interesting story.
Cowboy Bebop - Great character cast and good for a sit down and chill period with no huge complex stories as each episode is quite stand alone from one another.
Berserk - Great writing and great characters. Lots of sword play and action.
This has reminded me just how much I've got that I have yet to watch. =/

Yeah, how could I forget Vampire Hunter D! Great movie.
I agree with you sixfeet, Princess Mononoke is better that Spirited away but, my god are they good films! The Ghibli is out of this world. Good old Mayazaki
Another must see is 'Sword for Truth' It didn't get the best write up but I think this is one of the best manga's ever. Loads of sword fighting & traditional Japanese style!

The only anime im really into is FLCL. and besides that there was this sick show called "zoids" that was on cartoon network here in america a long time ago.

hey, we,ve got some anime fans on here! i'm a huge fan of Naruto, hence my name. If yer lookin for a good vampire anime, try something like Blood+. it's pretty good, and so is Trinity Blood. I also highly recommend Death Note. Happy watching!
