I think they should be a way for all us small dj's / producers to get into the scene, they should run a break through competition, run over the course of a year, with new dj's playing at events or having producer competition, that way the best of the uk talent could hit the scene,
same old same old tho, all the cru don't want all the future breed to take over the scene...

basically they try & give an award to all the dj's even if it isn't their style, as long as it's all kept close between all those guys!

Good to see whizzkid win at last. :) Hixxy put on HTID and I had a ****ing blinding week so I'm quite happy to see his name there tbh.
I don't agree with most of the results really but I don't really care either. They're what I would expect and not because I think it's fixed.
A lot of the people at raves don't even know who Darwin, Fracus etc. are still tbh. I know quite a few people who really quite like their hardcore but don't seem to know anyone outside of the core of the mainstream. A fair chunk of the listeners will just buy the music they see in the shops, go to HTID, Slammin' etc. and don't look much further into "the scene".
Is just a bit of fun anyways so who cares? Would be nice if the people who really deserve it got some awards but **** it. Just make them know how much you like their stuff yourselves.

i cant believe flashlight one best track.... i actually like a lot of the stuff styles brings out (ok more so the older stuff of the breeze n styles days) but i really don't like that flashlight tune...
