Filling Me With Desire - Remix Competition - Get Your Own Vinyl Release On Nu Energy!!!
The NEC and Nu Energy Recordings are hosting a remix competition offering the winner a chance to have their remix on a vinyl release. On top of that they are offering a short term recording contract for the winners to have their own EP further down the line. The remix is open to absolutely anybody but in a bid to encourage up and coming talent it excludes any artists that have already had a release out on vinyl.
Label owner Kevin Energy says: “The remix can be of any style so please don’t use the original as anything more then a reference point. I’m looking for fresh ideas and of-course nice production. The original has scope to become so many things so your imagination is the key. I will have up-to 3 winners on the winning EP and I’d like each final version to have its own individual properties.”

Winning entries must be uploaded to your NEC user profile at http://www.nuenergycollective.com so everybody can hear and discuss them. You must PM Kevin Energy through the site when you have uploaded your remix. The competition is open from now. The closing date is Thursday 27th November 2008. The winners will be announced on the NEC site on Friday November the 28th.

I might enter. I'm pretty sure I should focus on finishing the tracks I already have that are release worthy instead though :P

there is also a problem with the sample packs. there is a mega delay in the samples. some take up to a second to play? do we need to edit them ourself??

they all work fine for me when playing them through windows media player.
