I've been listening to a lot of hixxy's more recent tunes and they all sound like sped up trance. The only one I actually like is his remix of Heavens Above but everything else is just... meh. And is it just me or he using the same synth lead in all of his recent stuff?
I also kind of like his remix of Set You Free but it's a bit anticlimatic...
What happened?!

i wouldnt class them as recent tunes and personally i love that era of hardcore (2002-06)
i havent heard any of his 'new' tracks so i cant judge him, but i do know that in clubland x-treme hardcore 3 his own tracks were awful

isnt phaze 2 phaze gammer?
those 2 tracks mentioned are his best. bak in the day hixxy was one of the best, these days he his the worst, just pure weak hardcore.
his tunes or hardcore for that matter DOSENT reasemble trance at all

He is being held prisoner in my house until he promises to make good quility Hardcore again like tracks he did with Sharkey in 1996 such as Wanthing to get High * their remix of The Timespan's 'Shout Now' & Hixxy's Ah-ha-ha on Bonkers 1!

As far as his "Clubland X-Treme: Hardcore vol.4" cd goes, I thought some of the tracks were pretty decent. On the back of the cd, it is listed as:
Hixxy, Dougal, & Gammer-"Phaze 2 Phaze"
