We live in England its wet and cold lol...The whole point of the pub is the atmosphere, going outside and getting wet and cold doesent make for happy drinkers lol. I personally smoke ALOT and wont even go to pubs for any length of time anymore in Winter...As soon as summer hits (For 3 days) its all about the beer gardens, until then id rather sit in my nice warm house with a 24 crate and smoke till i choke :)

Does it not bother you when you have to go out in the wet and cold then?
to be honest it doesn't really bother me because it's the law of the land. also the bars and clubs would get so smokey that it was pretty gross. now the air is "cleaner" in the clubs aside from booze and other clubbers smells. it does suck to go outside when it's pissing rain but the venues normally put up little tents for the people to stand under. people that smoke tend to go to the clubs and bars with the covered areas bringing them business. soon everyone puts a little cover for everyone to go under and next thing you know everyone is happy. bars and clubs have patrons and smokers have a place to stand under. raves are a different story because you'll end up getting two hundred people standing outside all night after paying for a ticket, that is something that i'll never understand lol
