I would just like to post this on a forum so that her memory will be locked in history. A member of my Union was accidentally electrocuted by a power line while working in a dangerous bottle making mill Yesterday.
IBEW Local 46 Electrician accidentally killed on the job
Yesterday one of the sisters from my local union hall was killed accidentally while working in South Seattle yesterday. Here is what the news said of her. She was a great electrician and a member in good standing in Local 46. She'll be missed.
It's times like this that reminds me of how dangerous my job actually is.

The Seattle Fire Department says it happened around 2 p.m. at Saint-Gobain Containers in the 5800 block of East Marginal Way S. It happened on a platform outside the building. In a statement, the company said the female worker was carrying out electrical maintenance, but that it’s too early to speculate as to what happened. "This is a terrible accident and our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this difficult time. Our priority is to offer what support we can to them, and to our other employees who have lost a respected and well-liked co-worker," said company spokesperson Gina Behrman.
