That's why you listen to the sound clips before you buy it, not download it:

Did you also download Clubland X-Treme vol.4 & True Hardcore vol.2 as well? You're not supporting the music you like. And after listening to the clips myself, ya, its in the 170bpm range. Its not "too" slow.

How are songs that aren't even out yet classics?

I said almost all of these tracks have been on other CD's - I never said they where classics. And just because a track has not been released it doesn't mean it's not a classic.

If you look at what I quoted properly, and what my reply was, I think you'll find that I never said the word "classic". You stated that Most of the songs on the third disc were already released in other 3cd compilations - I didn't say anything other than that...but I did call you stupid.

er, thanks.

Eh....

In my experience, the people that download one album usually download them all...

I think its not a bad album for DJ's imo, hardcore does need more exposure in the mainstream so as TypeR is saying its a great thing that ministry of sound is pushing the album out.

Also so many unmixed tracks! w00t!. For the amount of tracks you do get for the price I think its well worth it.

It's a classics album, of course it's slower to start off, you can not compare it to clubland or true hardcore it's two different types of hardcore almost.

A compilation does not have to contain unheard / new tracks, you can't call a classics album classic if it has tracks no one has ever heard of.

I also agree with Cotts, you can get all the tracks as singles on an itunes or trackitdown download

Whats wrong with people...
If you don't like it don't buy it!!!!!!!!! Stop bitching...

I like the CD and think its a good compilation! Yes I have most of the other songs on other CD's but who cares. Its a good mix CD.

Think its a wicked idea that they have released all the tunes on TID as well. Great pack to buy for only a tenner!

Iv had a proper listen to this album now and its not actually that bad except on cd 3 there is way too many tunes that just arnt classics and some that shouldnt be anywhere near a hardcore album.

If you missed the earlier years of hardcore it would be an ok album to get...Only thing that winds me up is that the "Basshunter people" that buy this album are going to be going around with there windows open blazing classic tunes like "Follow the sun" "Devotion" etc which will ruin the magic of those tunes i feel, just like it did to heart of gold, shoooting star and rush hour when they got hold of them a few yers back.

Edit: Just to clarify though iv listened to the album not bought it. I wouldnt buy it either way, i own all the good tunes on there already lol.
