With the second batch of NSR releases fast approaching (and there being a couple of problems getting the new clips on the website) I have decided to post the clips up as downloads.

Dont worry, these are very small files and the clips are approx 1 minute 30 seconds long. For anyone who doesnt like downloading, the clips will be going on the NSR site sometime this week, but I have decided to put them up on a download site so that people can listen to the clips over and over which I believe is much more convenient than having to be on the internet and visit the NSR site everytime you want to hear a clip. If this turns out to be a success then this is something we may do with every release. So please feel free to leave feedback on this method (aswell as the clips)

The three tracks are out on December 8th and will be available at Juno, Imo and Beatsdigital. I will also post on the day of the release with direct links to buy the clips aswell as short reviews that have been written by the DJs who are currently playing these tracks up and down the country.

Ok honest opinions - "Crank" sounds really good at first, nice freeform tune but it never really feels like it kicks in properly (unless it does a bit further into the track). Plenty of potential though which makes it a little disappointing if that's all there is to it, though i would like to hear more.

"Boomcore" sounds much better. Much more professional feel to it. Really enjoyed it, good melody, good breakdown. Not too euphoric, hands in the air style-e, which is a good thing IMO, it could so easily have been just another UK Hardcore tune but it isn't. Nice work Deano (He does post on here right?)

"Doomsday" - bit bland IMO. Not really feelin the melody and the kick could be harder sounds as though its been distorted too much and lost a bit of punch.

May seem a bit critical but hey ho, just my honest opinion.

Meathead - Thanks for listening mate, Boomcore does seem to be the popular one, and I must say that as the track goes on it gets better and better, it really is a stompin tune, I luv Deanos work.
Crank is a track that I really like too (obviously) It may not be everyones cup of tea, but this is Chris' first release and the potenital that he has is immense, for such a young age he is a fantastic producer.
Doomsday is a decent gabber track, I understand that gabber isnt everyones taste and the poeple that do like gabber usually have a refined taste. I think disease (dj bugbear) was a little shocked I wanted to sign this track, but i think its a decent melody, a good synth, and its got a bit of a darkside. I dont know why but it reminds me of my nightmare in rotterdam dvd. Its the kind of gabber track that when I listen to I just have images of people jumping around to it lol.

Rosin007 - Full versions are out on Monday!!!!!! They will be on IMO, Juno and Beatsdigital, and I will post a new topic on here on Monday with direct links to buy the tracks.

Agreed "Crank" is a good track but needs more work i think. But the "Doomsday" tune just doesn't cut it for me as a Gabber track. BTW i love Gabber and that and hard D&B is almost all i listen to these days so, i suppose, naturally im gonna be a bit of a purist. It just isnt dark, hard or heavy enough for me. The synth sounds like real amatuer work to me, but then again im not a producer so im just speaking as a consumer. No offence obviously to Disease (Bugbear) he's a sound enough bloke and nor to you either. I respect you and appreciate what you're doing with this label and keeping it experimental and wish you nuff luck fella.

The only one that I would listen to and found good was Deano's track. I think Meathead said all that needs to be said about the other two.

Cheers mate, you too Mortis. All I can say is that I hope the future batches are more 'your cup of tea' We have got some really fantastic tracks coming in the next couple of months, so I just ask you to keep your eyes peeled. :)

You know what redwingz, you went too far with this one. Why the hell is the title of this thread...

3 Free Downloads!!!!

What kind of free downloads? Tune CLIPS? You're either taking a piss or seriously thinking that people here (and on USH) are dumbasses. Deceptive marketing backfires, remember that.

I'll check the clips out later.

I have already apologised for the misleading title. It wont happen again as I dont aim to piss off or offend anyone. I have changed the name of the topic
