every year now, (3 years owning a computer) I buy more on-line! its so much cheaper! this credit crunch thing is hyped by the news at the moment! On-line sales get higher every year! people realise, they can sit at home, get their item delivered at a cheaper price, and not have a snotty salesperson sell them insurance ect! the only benefit for buying in store, is you actually take the product home straight away! (deliveries can go wrong) why go to HMV, Woolworths (rip) Zavvi ect when their in store prices are 20-40% higher? thats for games, cd's and Dvd's! but also, if you go to Currys for electrical goods, they own dixons which is always cheaper to buy on-line! the high street is finished full stop I'm afraid! unless they match their website prices!

we only ever buy new dvds for £3 - cause we're cheep, also, at £3 thats basically what you pay on amazon after shipping for a good dvd.

i would never purchase a wii game in a store though - Game are a ****ing rip off. seriously - selling sonic and the secret rings for £19.99 PRE-OWNED....that game sucks anyway and i ended up selling it on ebay. but still - you can get it on amazon for less than a tenner!

plus when i went to game to sell it they wanted to give me £5 for it...i ended up selling it on ebay for £12... Suckaz

Just come back from Trafford Centre. Didn't see a single thing me or the missus liked so no prezzies this year lol. Nevermind eh.

Much prefer to shop online aswell hate being surrounded by people getting in my way, going through all the effort to get to the shopping centre (not much but not really worth it) and then find nothing that i like. Whereas i can search on the internet and find something in a matter if minutes that i want, no shop assistants who hate their jobs and the people around them they have to serve, no people around getting in my way and generally annoying the **** outta me. Tbh, id much prefer to pay the P&P of whatever it is i want than go through all that for stuff i dont.
