...i just had the most un-usual thing happen
the doorbell rang (which is odd in itself, nobody visits us lol) and there were two lads there, about 10 years old and they sang the whole of "we wish you a merry christmas" to me
what am i supposed to give them?????
i said "im sorry i havent any money, but your welcome to some chocolate"
luckily i had a HUGE box of choclates to hand we had put together for our shin-dig on the 23rd
they just want chocolates right?

I love Carol singers the little kids are so cute lol I think you were supposed to give them money but if they were 10 then im sure they were just as happy with chocolate

On a more serious note, I'm pretty sure they were happy with the chocolate. Don't feel guilty about it. :)
We got some carolers last year, about five kids, looked from ages 6-11. We didn't give them money but we gave each of them hershey bars. They all had big grins on their faces when they saw them. :p

We had a man dressed as santa knock on are door for charity , in the middle of the street was this weird slay vehicle thing and was playing christmas carols lol .. It was really funny when it was moving , a bit like that big massive moving stage in the paraid on Jingle all the way with arnold schwarzanegger in , Was pmsl..

if they came to you to sing songs, then i don't think you should give them anything. if you went to them to hear them sing songs then you should give them something in return.
now if they came to my house and were totally badass and did some dancing and such then i'd kick down some dough.

I hate carol singers. All they every sing is "We wish you a merry Christmas." EVRY SINGLE YEAR! It's, like, learn a new song or something!
