I recently acquired a Sony FW900 but I'm clueless as how to calibrate it
* The image is slightly blurry. It's fair, but it should be a lot sharper.
* The left side of the monitor is more blue than the rest of the monitor.
* The colors are way too dull.
Is there maybe a guide or something?
PS: The USB ports on the front of the monitor don't work. Anyone know why?
Edit: It's not my eyes deceiving me. The top left corner and the bottom left and middle of the screen is blurry compared to the center. Is there any way to fix that??? Oh yeah, light text on dark background is blurry too compared to dark text on a light background.

well, for the USB part, all it is, is a usb hub, there should be another usb cable out the back to go into your PC...
as far as calibrating it goes, if its teh CRT version sounds as though someones dragged a speaker in front of it to make the color go crazy - try de-gauzing it and playing with the menu...
aqquired eh?
if its a CRT version - then yeah, its on its last legs

I'm returning this piece of scheisse.
Oh and PS: I tried moving all my speakers away from it to no avail. Didn't fix anything.

Set the refresh rate of the screen to the max it can handle then there should be a button to auto calibrate it (on the monitor menu) press it and all should be good. I had a slightly different problem with two LCD's of my own.

Silver, I'm being completely honest when I say I've practically everything. Including what you said. Heck, I even built my own windas cable, installed windas and tried to use that to fix it, even that couldn't save the monitor.
