but seriously, i was always taught haitch, always heard haitch, thought it was 'normal', particularly in sydney if not aus. i rarely hear aitch in sydney (from what i can recall). interesting to hear what other locals say

But this is a whack topic because it doens't really matter, i havent had to say the letter by itself since i was in kindergarten learning the alphabet.
Whoever said english is different from american, you're a numpty. They're the same language with different dialects.
"zee" is actually an americansim and "zed" is proper english. That was always my understanding... but if someone can bring forth proof that im wrong ill gladly admit it.
