So is everyone else in the UK enjoying this global warming thing? I've seen these pictures on the news about how polar bears ect are struggling in the Artic, as the glaciers are disappearing and the ice sheets are melting ect! well how about bringing all of them hear because its f**king freezing! and next week its going to get worse! -13 in Scotland is forcast and not much better for the rest of us! so much for these warm winters ect!

it is indeed quite chilly, i look forward to summer immensly, it better be better than last year though, last years summer sucked - the weather was useless

yeh it is cold here in scotland.
but i dont think the winters are as bad as they were about 10/15 years ago..
i remember we used to get snow really bad/deep
but we dont get anything like that anymore,mostly just frost & cold winds now
and the usual loads of rain..

Pfft.
I wish it would stay one damn temp. here!
It keeps changing, and making me sneeze and hack all over the place!
Rain, 50 degrees outside (F). Next day: 62 MPH wind gusts, 7 degrees outside, hell if I know what the wind shield was! I didn't go outside, just watched garbage cans roll in the streets.
8 inches of snow, all melted by rain, then the rain gets frozen!

I'm quite happy about global warming, last time we had snow here in Vienna was umm … 3 years ago lol. But it's still very cold sometimes.. a month ago we had about 20°C outside ( 68°F ), a week ago about 10°C ( 50°F ) and now around 0°C ( 32°F ) or less. That's fu*king cold ( for me at least, cause I'm Italian, from the south you know  ) but when I think back 3-4 years ago, we had like -20°C ( -4°F ) and today I'm wondering how I bore that.
Some weeks ago, in the news, they said that some trees already became blooms so hot it was. That was back in November if I'm right. Crazy eh ?

Last time we had a proper winter here was in the 90's. I'm pretty sure Britain has always had cold peaks, but nothing that lasts. Also -13 is not that cold :P

Its freezing here and I had to go on a huge treck round the countryside with my family yesterday and when i got back i couldnt move my fingers even though id had gloves on lol

Sydney had a proper winter last year (for sydney) for most of june and july we were waking up to negative celcius, particularly out richmond way. there was a blizzard in the blue mountains which almost never happens. unfortunately sydney didnt get snow. never seen sydney get snow, to my knowledge its never happend. =(

there was some pretty ****ing heavy hail on my way back from newcastle that looked like snow... but it was just a lot of hail. To my knowledge the closest place it happens is in the blue mountains. And even there its not heavy.
Our spring was majorly whack this year... 16 degree day followed by a 40 degree day... im assuming it would have been hotter out west where you are lilley.
Summer has been pretty stable so far, usually hovering around 25-30 most days, with some days getting above, but in general its been pretty good.
