Here are two new tracks I've been working on.
I'm fairly hesitant on posting these as I dont have allot of confidence in what I produce - but its worth getting the opinions.
The Twigganator track is a rework of my first tune, with a bassline that makes the track flow more nicely. (256kbs)

Echoes of the Masses is something thats been half done for a good two months. It's basically been a track thats experienced most of what i've learnt done to it. I'm very if-y about some parts of the track but I'm keen to hear some other opinions! (128kbs)

thanks rodeo! i have no idea about that genre either.. i was clicking and it kinda just worked so i finalized it :D
since the first version, I've added a bassline and that alone made it sound 100 times better. I made various other touches too.

'Echoes Of The Masses' sounds as though the timing is out with the Kicks (only one on the beat would, imo, sound better) and the Bass.
'Twigginator' is much more interesting.
Both would be better at 170bpm instead of 160.
Neither are great but you've got to start somewhere so keep at it.

I had a play with Twigganator first. That was a simple raise to 170bpm. Heres the 192kbs version:

I'm having trouble finding a kick suitable for Echoes.

That's better but the Bassline is out of tune with the main riff in places and causes an annoying discord.
....and a breakdown would be nice.

i get ya, ion.
I've made quite a few changes to the track keep some acid synths but mixing it in with a new bassline and some more experimenting sounds.
I'm still struggling to grasp the whole breakdown concept. Any ideas for FL studio? oscillator settings or anything?
its not 100% yet, obviously, I'll post it up some time soon.
