i think you misunderstand me - its not that they arent massive - at all, they are both huge news issues, with the gaza situation it has ab-so-lutly nothing to do with how much coverage it is getting, it is to do with the fact that they are quite clearly and obviously biased against isreal and have failed - several times to give a fair and equal look at the story - anybody who watches BBC news could be forgiven into thinking that they (hama's) havent done anything wrong in this situation and are entirely innocent and do not deserve in the slightest the pummeling they are getting.

im not condoning at all what is going on, being in the UK this of course isnt effecting me compared to someone who is actually in that situation.

but there is a reason the BBC are being investigated. they arent being investigated for no good reason.

all you have to do is type into google "bias bbc" and tons and tons of stuff comes up, the only people who really have a problem with people calling the BBC seem to be left leaning/liberals.

because thats pretty much who the BBC preach to..they've always been anti-republican

found this little gem

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-411846/We-biased-admit-stars-BBC-News.html

i wouldnt say i lean left or right, i like to get my news given to me straight.

a basic way i would say to look at it is:
how many times would the bbc suggest bush is a moron compared to how many times the BBC will suggest that he isnt a moron...

i would say if you watch the BBC from a liberal standpoint, you are going to agree with most everything they say and how they report it - or at least be taken in and find yourself repeating what the news said to your friends later...

if you stand on the other side of the fence its really too obvious where the bias's lie, because you are the one who is being biased against...

im not saying that you, or anyone else is liberal, im just saying - if you go looking for news and reading up on situations, it shouldnt be too hard to see where the bias' are.

and on a different not: just because i have a TV in my house which is capable of reciving TV signals, im forced to pay £140 a year? what kind of ******** is that???
yes - in england - you have a TV - you have to pay £140 a year EVEN if you dont even watch tv on it so the BBC can spend you're money on whatever the hell they want. BS.

lol!

You can do that for anything, and get results...

What Hamas is doing isn't really the issue though is it? Everyone knows about their rocket attacks on Israel, it's reiterated throughout the coverage, but none of it justifies blowing up schools. I's say the coverage is pretty representative given that a grand total of 13 Israelis have died in this conflict yet the Palestinian death toll is 1000+. No one care about the pummelling of Hamas, it's the pummelling of civilians that's causing the media frenzy, and it's why Israel is probably going to be investigated for war crimes, and given that Obama is less likely to have America bail them out Israel look like it could be in some serious shit, their military is reliant on US support after all.

so you are of the opinion that they are being investigated for no good reason and you cannot see any bias in the BBC whatsoever, and you trust the BBC to give you fair and impartial news?

like i said back there i wasnt saying that it is right or wrong as to what they are doing. but they arent doing it in an impartial manner. i was just using the hama's as an example, they do it with tons of other stuff i cant even be bothered to go into...as a general example i used the bush thing - which you didnt comment on..

im guessing you think bush is a moron...so if the bbc suggested as usual that he IS a moron - you wouldnt blink an eye. but anyone who doesnt feel that way can easily pick out the way and the tone in which they say things about him, you can almost garentee that the tone of their voice and the way in which they say things about Obama will be positive no matter what he is doing..

No!

For once in his life, Bush realized something was gonna happen before he did it so he could avoid it!
