Just had a listen there fluxx & I have to say, this melody has real potential but whats bringing the track down is the sound of the bass.
The bass itself doesn't sound very good to start with IMO & it also sounds like it goes out of tune a little at times. Everything else is sounding much crisper especially the melody & your beats are sounding much better now & not getting caught behind the bass & melody but its just the bass that's ruining it for me just now.
I think if you went back & chose a new bass patch & had another tamper with the notes of the bass itself, it could really bring this track to life & it would sound much more professional but certainly a step in the right direction mate. I'm looking forward to hearing it again with better bass.
I wouldn't mind having a little go at this one myself

and ill play with the bassline too. im glad you didnt dislike the gabber-like kick that came in. that was a risky thing i did - i felt so anyway :]
and myself and trancesar would be delighted for you to have a go :D
he exported and sent me the bass and melody, ill stick them in an flp and send it to you :)
