Fusion Presents Heroes Vs Villains
in association with
Hyperbolic
Saturday 7th March 2009 - 8pm – 5am
The Opera House, 570 Christchurch Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth, BH1 4BH
Prepare for a comic book fuelled fancy dress extravaganza this March as one of the South Coast’s biggest and longest running UK Hardcore event brands Fusion, returns to its regular home, the illustrious Opera House in Bournemouth to kick off their series of 2009 sessions with an almighty POW! Inviting an all star cast of Hardcore masters of their craft to the main stage to include the award winning, top ten album chart achieving Darren Styles, Hardcore Heaven ‘Best DJ’ 2008 award winner Gammer and Hardcore Heaven ‘Best MC’ 2008 award winner MC Whizzkid, Fusion don’t hold back on presenting the ravers with an event that shall set the pace for their plans for 2009. Add to this a second room hosted by leading East Anglian UK Hardcore heroes Hyperbolic; touching down on southern turf to show Fusion how it’s done and the scene is set for an all night epic showdown where both brands fire on all cylinders to deliver the very best for the raving masses!
After a short break away for Christmas, Fusion continues its near eighteen year run of putting on the very best UK Hardcore events across the South Coast by presenting this Heroes Vs Villains comic book hero fancy dress spectacular. Although fancy dress is not essential nor is it an absolute requirement of entry, those who wish to dress up are requested to try themselves out as one of their favourite comic book legends be it Hero or Villain to help get in the spirit of this all night extravaganza.
Arguably the South Coast’s very best venue, the Opera House is the setting from 8pm – 5am as Fusion’s Main Stage is hosted by a line-up of superheroes in their own right! Starting with Hardcore Heaven Award winner, All Around The World recording artist, one part Clubland X-Treme Hardcore compilation compiler, international DJ and top ten National Album Chart artist Darren Styles, who makes a welcome return to Fusion and is back by popular demand.
He is joined at the height of the bill by this years ‘Best DJ’ award winner at the 2008 Hardcore Heaven Awards, Essential Platinum, Muffin Music and True Hardcore star – Gammer, HTID: The Album and Raverbaby label artists Re-Con & Squad-E, Fusion creator, co-promoter, THC label boss and True Hardcore co-producer Supreme as well as Ufology Records owner and current THC and True Hardcore co-producer UFO.
Also confirmed are Notorious Vinyl boss Marc Smith, Hardcore Underground 3 album stars Darwin & Fracus (marking an eagerly awaited back to back session at Fusion), Fusion resident and Fast Music co-owner Flyin, RSR Recordings legend and original Fusion resident from back in the day Ramos, one part Fusion promoter, co-owner and Fusion residents the Chunky Boys and a very special three way back to back to back with arguably three of UK Hardcore’s most talented ladies – Fusion resident Clodhopper, Raw Element’s Sc@r and Totally Ardcore creator and promoter Miss Special K.
They receive full support at the front of the stage from a selection of the very best microphone wielding entertainers, led on this occasion by this years newly crowned ‘Best MC’ (at the Hardcore Heaven Awards 2008) – MC Whizzkid! In full support, will be leading lyricists such as Krafty Radio and Next Generation Records player Wotsee, almighty titans and Fusion residents Casper & Knight, the very gifted Scotti B, Uproar resident Rude, South Coast badboy Skatty and Ravers Reunited creator and promoter MC Keyes.
If a Main Arena stacked so very high with talent such as it is, is not enough for you then try Room Two whereby leading East Anglian party provider Hyperbolic brings on the thunder upstairs! With just as much experience behind the Hyperbolic brand as Fusion itself (nearly two decades of event organisation), Hyperbolic introduce their residents – promoter & creator Paul Grant, Alex F, DJ Fretman, DJ C, Ballistic, DJ Classix and a back to back from favourites Top Vibe & Destiny. Injecting as much energy, enthusiasm and maintaining their reputation for a blinding party wherever in the UK that they are, Hyperbolic will be joined by some very special guests including newly crowned Fusion resident and THC signing for 2009 DJ Mob, Hardcore Nation 2009 album contributor Bishop and Clubland X-Treme Hardcore 5 album compilation contributors Paul EP & Smithy. In addition to this, the room will feature a guest spot of filthy underground Hardstyle from Resonate residents SL-DJ and Iain Cross.
Giving the Fusion following a good run for their money on the microphone will be Hyperbolic resident MC’s and special South Coast guests Reconize, Surgeon, Tempo, Jack, Hurstey, Princey and Deverstate completing a line-up that pitches up the heat between East & South as Hyperbolic bring on the noise!
Combining two celebrated party providers with the Opera House sound system conjuring up a cocktail of beats and bass, a full merchandise stall and stands featuring all manner of rave essentials! This does of course include the now infamous full on Fusion laser show and costumed Heroes and Villains galore! Don your capes and masks; this is going to be quite the awesome comic book themed adventure!
