hiya i just downloaded this album off of clsms website, but i want to split it up into tracks instead of a big mix, after about 2hrs of trying to find a way to do this i noticed that it said theres a cue. file (which can split it up) on clsms website so i downloaded it
when i opened it using 'medievil cue. spliter' it said theres an error, so has anyone got a cue splitter that can split this mix?
on the site it says you can split it using nero, but i tryed to download nero and it said it'll take about 6hrs which i havent got
so has anyone split it? what did u use? cheers!!

put the cue file in the same folder as the mix you downloaded, open nero and check "no pause between tracks"

k thanks, i might try that later, but i ment is there any other way of spliiting the file? apart from using nero, cause the download for the installation program is taking long

use audacity n split it yourself but that mite take ages

i dunno how u use it, i opened the mix mp3 file and i cant even play it, it jusr dosent bring out any sound... anythin else, im hopeless i swear.. lol

Sounds to me like the MP3 file is corrupt.

Goldwave is basically shit being sold for $45. Audacity is far more powerful, has far more features, is open source, and is free.
But, AJSharps, since it's .cue, Medieval cue splitter will do the trick for you. It's freeware btw. I've used it several times and it typically does the job quite nicely. :)

i have something called MP3 Splitter & Joiner it is real simple to use, you make the call on where u want 2 split it and it cost $20 when i bought it. I'm not sure if it is still around since i bought it probably more than 5 years ago. but i still use it and it works great. but I believe it only splits MP3. i've used it so many times because i specifically bought it for the happy hour radio files that anabolic frolic and silver 1 hosted.

i just want to use the cue. splitter for this 1 mix so i dont want to pay for it, and medievil is what ive got but it dosent recognise the cue. file, ive redownloaded and it still dont work

Been a while since I've done it but in Nero there was a way to split a track. You just "opened" up the track, or in this case mix, and then clicked on a timeline where you wanted a new track to start. Do that as many times as you want, where you want, and then it split the track.
Burn to c.d with no pause between tracks and your sorted.
I did it with a few mixes so that I could skip to the best parts and it only took a few minutes.
