I think for a commercial dance tune, its actually not that bad. What we have to remember is that certain DJ/Producers don't always stick to the same genre and we've known for years that Darren Styles makes more commercial friendly tracks.
But the thought of a hardcore mix of the track does sound quite terrible!

I am ok with artists exploring other genres, you gotta pay the bills...
BUT, if you are going to do something comercial, at least make sure it is good, I personally thing this migth be the of worst Darren's track I've heard, regardless the genre

Ha wow, I love playing this song at parties and virtually everyone loves it. Stark contrast to what you guys have been saying. Granted, none of them listen to electronic music day to day, but I suppose if his goal was to sell he did a good job with what he had.

Thats a lot of music to dislike considering male vocals are common in so many genres.

I don't mind it, hope there is a hardcore version. As for doing other styles, almost every hardcore dj makes music other than hardcore. Did you know Unknown also produces Breaks, Slipmatt makes Rave Breaks and House, Recon produces House and NRG, Brisk and Ham make Hard Dance.
As much as people like to slate Darren Styles, he is probably one of the most talented Hardcore producers in the scene. Tracks are floorlessly produced. Yes they are often on the comercial side. But the level of production is up there with the best in the world. He's even venturing into Electro Hardcore which is great to see. If there was a Hardcore dj that ventures into the dj top 100. It would be him. Is like the Armin Van Buuren of Hardcore.
