My friend in Ottawa raves all the time. I wonder if you`ve hosted something he`s been to.
Canada really needs a better scene. We are just starting to get a rap scene, so I dread how long it takes before we get a real Hardcore scene. Because the only real Canadian artists I can name are the people on here, and Smartyz and Deadfunk.

I hosted the 'Here We Go' series of Nintendo raves and a bunch of other stuff under the 1upped Productions banner.
There's a few Canadian hardcore artists, and I'm not including the harder stuff:
-phosphor & Justrich (Blizzard Boys)
-Tamerax
-Deadfunk
-Smartyz
-Tipsy T
-Virus
-Frisky & Hujib
-S4
-Ruffage
-Twisted Freq
-EFM-7 (my partner in crime :P)
-myself
etc.

EFM-7 sortof lives in my basement...but not actually, that's just where our studio is...haha
Frisky lives in Toronto (but really, Hujib is the man behind his music)
Ruffage is somewhere near Toronto I think.
