It's gotten worse over a couple of weeks, but I'm having a lot of trouble reading bright text on dark backgrounds. And by dark, well, I mean dark. (I can read posts on this forum fine). Here's just a quick example: http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=quantum_of_phallus When I try to read that, I have to get about, two inches from the monitor (I have an LCD) and stare intently. Otherwise it's very difficult to read as I get double vision and I just can't seem to get my eyes into focus. Oh yeah, it gives me a headache (the headache goes away as soon as I go to a non-bright-text-over-dark-background page or just look away). What's mainly odd to me though is that this happens rarely in real life. Should I be worried about this....? I'm only 15.

I usually spend 2-5 hours a day on the computer. When I'm working on projects and that kind of stuff it an get up to 8 hours (but that happens maybe once every two weeks). I'd head outside more but for the past two months the weather has been terrible... below freezing temps, storms, ice, etc.

Yep, that's what I've been doing.
Oh yeah, I already have glasses. And I'm seriously not shitting anyone when I say without them I'd might as well be blind. I'm about two feet from my monitor now, and without my glasses on it's an unrecognizable blur.

Masturbation has made my sight sharper than ever. Highly recommended.
Rayovac, just have your eyes checked by a doc. Eyes are fragile and - if it's a serious condition - the sooner you start treating it the better.

I would make the point of going there right away. At your age certain eye problems can be corrected.
