My copy of Hardcore Nation 2009 came in this week, but I am at my other home so I wont get to hear it until this weekend. I am waiting, along with everyone else, on HU3.

yea that happens to me too... sometimes. it's just pure luck to get ur cds real early from overseas to the US.
and normally cd compilation releases are pretty slow after X-mas. that's been the pattern for years. they release more during the fall and winter season cuz of X-mas shopping

Obviously waiting for HU3 but..........I may aswell use this topic to say.......
NSR will be releasing a physical professionally made CD around April/May time!
This is still at the planning stage although the tracklist is nearly complete, quotes for the manufacturing and artwork etc have been received.
It should be a 10 track unmixed CD and should cost around £5 with free p&p. There will only be 100 copies as this is NSR's first 'physical' project but I can promise it should be a great cd for DJs and fans alike!

... because a bunch of the oldskool indie labels that did them don't anymore, the majors are wary, and the retail/distro situ is a nightmare.
HU3 is actually ready to rock, distro contract signed, and off to manufacture next week.
As a result we'll have a firm release date to shout about, and a facility to pre-order directly should emerge soon after.
It's likely of little consolation, but we can follow this release with one *very* shortly afterwards.
