Is this a good deal?

http://www.studica.com/products/product_detail.cfm?productid=56249&storeid=4

Im looking to get fl8 producer edition (im currently on the one that costs like 85 off amazon, i think its fruity loops edition)

My production skills are not brilliant but I want to improve and the site above sells producer edition for like £40 cheaper than amazon

Reading through it all you have to provide proof that you are a student, teacher etc. But im not sure if that's just for educational prices or for commercial prices as well. Nice find though mate ill look more into it. I am a college student but only part-time night-schooling so i dont think i qualify for the educational prices..... still gonna try it though ;)

Not heard of this site though. I think I got FL direct from their website.

Get In! Do you know what she had to send as proof mate? If i can get hold of the educational copy ill be laughing.

Again cheers for bringing this site to my attention Redwingz mate. Ive seen that copy of FL going for around about £170 elsewhere, so it looks like a really good deal.

It does, until you go to checkout and realise that those prices are excluding VAT!

Didn't have to send anything mate. Just explained where she went to college and what she was studying. They did ask her a couple of questions about what she was using now and what other software/hardware she had but luckily my mum is pretty sharp. :P

I guess she would have had to say her course was something to do with music or some other media? Not, for example, GCSE maths and english lol. I may have to do a bit of twisting the truth, but its for a good cause.
