I only buy CD packs from raves that i was at, more for nostalgia reasons than knowing it was a good night of music. I dont genereally buy the compilations unless something really takes my fancy.

if you mean CD/tape packs from events, then not anymore. i bought 2 hullabaloo ones with Anabolic Frolic and the local djs, and they had guest djs as well. even tho it was cool hearing the live crowd and all that good stuff, the sound quality of the music was not worth it. i would imagine the ones for HH would only be slightly better.
and i find MCs to be extremely irritating, so i definitely want to avoid them altogether. so i'm more into compilations that CD packs. on the other hand, there have been good live DJing mixes by some DJs in other genres. Live & Spundae by DJ Irene was truly amazing imo

Not really no. I don't really like to listen to mc's over music when I'm just chillin' at home with some tunes on.
I have got stacks and stacks of tape packs from over the years though. Used to buy them all the time.
