What would you recommend? Ive seen a few people say Z3ta+ (something or other) but im not keen on it tbh. I want a VST that i can create my own synths with, not one packed full of presets that everyone out their is using.
I downloaded and have been playing about with the demo version of Fruity Loops 7 for a while now and there's a VST on there called Sytrus. This is the kind of thing im after lots of freedom to make whatever sounds you want with, but its a little too expensive for me for now. So can anyone recommend me something like this, but thats easier on my bank balance?
Any help much appreciated cheers.

Z3ta+ is one of the most powerful VSTs out there for making your own sounds... TONS of oscillators, filters, routing possibilities, etc.
It's much more powerful than Sytrus.
Another really good one is Sylenth1. Look it up.

Ah, didnt know just had a little go on it and it seemed like it was just presets. Cheers ill have a look into them both.
EDIT
Think Z3ta+ may be the way to go having check some prices lol. Christ this producing lark is expensive.

V-Station is another good one to learn on. It's pretty straight forward. Less possibilities and less oscillators but a good all around synth.

V-Station might be a good option. Cheap and a bit more basic so you're not too overwhelmed. It has a very nice sound too.
