..Future part 4?

I have the luna-C files Volume 2 on CD, and the Kaos and Fire on this is subtly different to the version I have on vinyl. The piano kinda echos/has reverb on it which I think makes it sound slightly better. The evil laughter is missing over the stabs in the middle which is a shame though. Anyway, is this 'version' available on vinyl.

Also, I have Knitefore Past Present and Future 4 on CD and there's a couple of tracks I just have to have on vinyl. One is Alk-E-D Not the 1 remix, the other is a remix of High on Life (and is not listed on the CD). Is this album or these tracks available on vinyl, if so where? I've checked my usual places, imo, ebay, htfr.

Cheers, Toby

Not sure to be honest. Worth checking Discogs for more info.

I think the Not The One remix may be available on one of the KFA releases that came out around that time. Again check on discogs for more info. I'm pretty certain the Hattrixx remix of High On Life was exclusive to PPF4. Hope thats some help.

Kind of. The PPF CDs were compilations of the most recent 3 or 4 KFA releases with some bonus tracks.

The Not The One Remix came out on KFA039 but like I said before the High On Life Remix was only on CD.

If Kaos & Fire is different, then something very peculiar is going on. As far as I recall (and I am the first to admit that my memory is poo!) there was only one version of Kaos & Fire recorded by me. Back in the day, I almost never re-eqed a track. Once it was finished, I recorded it to DAT then that was that.
The only reason for a difference between the vinyl release and the CD version, is that the vinyl release was eq-ed when it was cut to vinyl by the cutting engineer.
As for the laughing over the stabs, I dont understand how that can be at all. Unfortunately, I cant check it because my vinyl is still packed away so i cant compare for myself!
The Past, Present, Future CDs were exclusive releases and vinyl releases on one CD. So some never saw the light of day until those CDs, others were cut to vinyl!

Hope that helps :o)

How bizarre. I'll see if I can post mp3's of the 2 at some point this weekend so you can listen to what I mean.
Cheers, Toby

Chris (Luna-C)

Are you happy with me posting the MP3's on here or would you rather me PM them to you?
Cheers, Toby
