(as much as I hate to address this situation....)

Ok, recent events have had me thinking & this is something I feel, has too be said.

Over the past few months i've noticed a lot of negative posts from both, experienced & noob members. It appears that a lot of you are unhappy with the quality of threads nowadays & don't really give the site as much time as you used too.

I've been studying threads over the past few months & it has come to my attention that a lot of the members, that aren't happy with the quality of threads, are taking a back seat in waiting for more entertaining threads too appear. This is complete nonsense & if you want to make a difference to the site as a whole, then you must play your part despite your feelings.

If the more experienced members are sitting back from posting topics then how can it get any better. All that will happen is, you'll reach your limit like a member has recently, & you'll loose what it is that makes HHC.com your favorite site. We have to pitch together, old & noobs & start getting the ball rolling again. Sitting moaning about it doesn't help in the slightest & I know i'm contradicting myself here but this seriously had too be said!

Finally, something else thats been annoying me & I feel we have to address is the constant shooting down of other members comments. Its hard to get a good debate going without someone completely shooting your opinions down in one thread & trying to look like a know it all.

I ask all members to relax a bit & take on board what other members bring too the table & reply in a more understanding way instead of killing the threads with single, venom filled posts. We're all HHC.com family & everyone has a right to their own opinion, wether its right or not even close. Just try & take a bit of time to help debate the truth rather than making that person come across like a complete moron.

All in all, I ask every member of the site, not to take a back seat & too have faith in the site. Sitting back with a grumpy face will solve nothing! We have to get creating more in depth topics & it takes the educated members to supply them.

Also, give each other a chance. Less hate, more debate! Thanks for reading

P.S. Just incase my own personal thoughts on the site weren't clear. I love the place too death & the threads & members combined make this the best Hardcore Site in the world IMO. I'm just commenting on what i've experienced in recent months

Older members always drop off in anything, life takes over, they get married they don't got raving anymore, new members come along, ask the same questions, the older people moan about it, it's the nature of the internet :)

the site is 10 years old this year - I've seen it all :)

Yeah, your right Silver. Its just the way things go I suppose.

I just want to push the experienced members to keep posting & forget about a few silly threads that are putting them off but I understand what you mean entirely!

agreed. many people on here are too serious for their own good.

we all need to lighten up a bit.

everytime i go to ush, it seems like they're having a much better time from what i read, way less bickering going on.

can't we just all get along?

Dunno about anyone else but the novelty of random youtube vids is wearing thin....

sometimes, if it's relevant, but not all the F*uckin' time FFS!

....find a new toy.

Other than that, yeh, what Ken said.

Cheers for the comments everyone!

I was having 2nd thoughts about posting this as sometimes addressing a problem like this can make it seem worse or give new members a bad impression but all I ask is we get back to some more focused debates & have a listen to everyone's point of views.

Less hate, more debate! Thanx

I agree with the person that to many people on this site are stuck up they're own arse.

Alot of haterz on here aswell always trying to bring a brother down. Like that guy who called me a nignog, disgusting that cat needs to take a good look at himself. But thats enough about him. Most of the cats I know who like hardcore are nothing like the people on this site. Seems to be posers on this site, fakes. What is it with people posting youtube vids with they're shitty posts. Pointless and after a while you start to think the repeat offenders are wannkers.

Tbh USH seems like a much better place to have a laugh and not take things too seriously. Whereas here, everyone's gotta be nice all the time for fear of offending anybody else, and if you do say something to another user - even if it is tongue in cheek - theyre off. This place does need to lighten up, people need to stop taking other peoples comments to heart. I do this a bit myself, take the piss, but it just doesnt go down well at all on here when people do that from what ive seen. Like i say lighten up people its just the internet.

And about the whole "old members keep the site alive" thing - its already been said that people move on. For whatever reason the site just doesnt have the same appeal to them anymore, and as they leave a new breed of HHC'ers come along and everyone wishes it was like the good old days. Its an internet forum. People leave, new people join, old topics are regurgitated and people get sick of it. Now i realise im probably just repeating whatever someone else has already said so ill just leave it at that.

the whole point of ush is to bicker and be *******s to each other, that's why it's great

they don't take themselves so seriously, and when people post trying to be all serious and self righteous about hardcore they get torn to shreds, as they probably should.

Bit a pointless thread really as i posted a similar thing a month or so ago.
I have to admit though i'm getting pretty bored of the threads full of YouTube videos too.

this topic is starting to sound just like the "time to leave the forums" topic, so i guess i'll post on this one since it's shorter.

if u notice, the quality of the threads here have not really changed much from the beginning of threads on this site. only difference is that if ppl think the thread is pointless, they don't respond. hence the small amount of posts to certain threads.

as far as old ppl leaving, ppl change, and that goes with attitudes, beliefs, and sense of humor. just using her as an example, kathryn is a perfect example of that. from what i understand, she came on this forum as a single girl. eventually she met mortis, they started going out, then they got married, now they have a child so they are a family. u can't seriously expect ppl will not change after such huge dramatic developments in their lives. so obviously we all mature as we get older. at least that's how it's supposed to be. so don't b surprised when ppl leave the forums. many say that it's because the quality of them has gone down, but it's really not. it really is that as a person you have outgrown the need for it and have matured and are experiencing adult situations that far exceed the necessity to constantly post on the forums.

as far as the youtube videos go, they are getting a little bit irritating, especially since the majority of them highlight hardcore or another subgenre of electronica. we have separate forum sections for those go use them there! youtube videos really should only b used as an addition to the topic at hand and not to try to change the subjec (smoogie) or think that it will help lighten the mood (smoogie again).

but topics will always have posts that deter from the original point of the topic, mainly because that's what basic human conversation is like. it's rare to be talking about the same exact subject for an hour without there ever being a point where you talked about something else. i guess the best solution to the pointless thread problems is that if you really don't have anything constructive to add, then don't post anything then the topic will just die down like it has in the past. that goes for me too of course

and i gotta check out the ush forums since y'all r talking about it sounds like the forums are more lively

*actually just came back from viewing it, only slightly more immature than our general discussions. as funny as is was, plz nobody start a best camel toe thread here!
