Hey everyone,

A friend of mine loves to sing, and she sent me a video of her singing the song "Heaven" by Cascada ( yeah I know Cascada sux, just wanna-be Happy Hardcore … ). I've ripped the audio from the video and uploaded it to speedyshare, she asked me to spread it in the net … so here it is :

http://www6.speedyshare.com/data/299228182/15375464/69497299/kym.QuickTime%20Player.app%20recording.mp3

If you're looking for a singer for some of your tracks, you might take her, if you think she's good enough and if you like her voice. She'd put more effort in more serious work of course, that was just like … Freestyle you know. PM me if you're interested.

Cheers !
Revs.

This may come off as harsh, but the truth is she's very pitchy and sings in headvoice and has problems with her breath control. She should probably get some singing lessons before working as a singer.

I quite like it. Never really been a fan of the todays overproduced vocals, liked much better the older HHC ones.

BTW, the first thing that came to my mind on the topic title was that youre searching a vocalist.

Who uses auto-tune anymore?

It's all about the melodyne....

I don't really think Cascada is wanna-be hardcore either... Are we, as a scene, that arrogant?

I'll keep her in mind if I decide to use vocals for my next track. Just to clear things up... she charges or will do it for free?

Ok thanks. Up until now (since I started producing back in 1998) I've only produced non-vocal Hard Trance. However, my next track is going to be Happy Hardcore. I wasn't intending on having vocals, as it's difficult finding a singer who can sing in the HHC style, but I did like her style, and with some "studio magic" I think she'll do well.

Do you (or she) have the means to record at 24/192kHz or at least 24/96kHz?

Does she have any other samples or original songs online?

Yeah, I will post some more stuff tomorrow or today if I find some time.

I don't know in how much she records, I guess she can't do much better than in the audio in my first post.
