I don't use pot or condone the use of it, but this is the right way to do it, hands down. It's like with the whole alcoholic prohibition situation that occured in the 1920's-30's here.

it'd be nice, i agree, but the fact is that it probably will not happen.
it seems like countless times over the years, canada or some other place has come close to legalizing it, but it just never goes through.
i wrote an essay once on why pot should NOT be legalized and i really convinced myself. there are a lot of things that we don't take in to account.
it's got to be an all or none approach when dealing with drug legalization. the only benefit would be that it would get rid of the black market overnight, which is really the best way to do things if "the good guys" want to win the war on drugs, but because they are too pig headed i seriously doubt that will happen either.
