Oh god, razrs are horrible excuses for cellular phones. They break down way too easily, and are filled with bugs (mostly physical/mechanical).
Nokia, on the other hand, FTW. Only problem I have with them is that their best phones cost an arm and a leg.

I have a Japanese Razor phone the software is different in Japan and runs 10 times faster / better than the non Japanese versions IMO, I had no idea how bad Razor's were until I tried my friends in Australia, it was just so damn slow... Pity you can't unlock the Japanese version it's quite good

ive had a motorola l7 for about 2 years now and ive had no problems...
dropped it in sinks
flashed shitty firmware onto it
modded it to high heaven
smashed it about
it still works perfect..
so i have had a great experience of motorola

So basicly you have a phone, you just have one from the 50's and never thought that the technology might have made some advances to the model you have? Seriously though, landlines here are a lot more expensive (to call people), so even if you would keep the mobile only at home, it would still be better here then landline.
Also is vonage the practice where you put your message in a bottle and throw it into the ocean?

in the UK landlines are free after 7pm :)
lolz - vonage = VOIP
telephone over the internet, used to own a UK number as well as my american one, so that family could call me for free after 7pm lol
