http://www.discogs.com/Sharkey-Hard-Life/release/56915 This is the CD that contains several of the songs that were on Sharkey's mix in Bonkers 4 (death by stereo, hard life, product of society (hardcore society remix), correct? I just want to be really sure, I hate it when I buy something and it's not what I expected - it's happened to me several times in the past and the majority of the time it's ended up being a waste of money.

My favorite hardcore album, without a doubt! & that goes for mixed set's also so that really is saying something!
I was hooked on this the first day it came out & I would happily give it a listen right now.
I have to say, I haven't got it on vinyl though thanx for the link Triquatra. This babies mine

Woah! Bad move buddy. That's a shame. You should have given it a bit more time. It really does grow on you.
Each to their own I suppose

exactly! Its just not my type of hardcore! (and theres not much I don't like) Its why Bonkers 3/4 are my least favourite in the series! and also thunderdome 1!

Finally got it and it's f*ckin lovely.
Death by Stereo - Not much I can say... great tune. A bit on the powerful side.
Even Angels Fade Away - Not all that interesting. Don't like the vocals.
Distant Dreams - Beautiful, thumping tune. Love it. On par with The Awakening!
The Awakening - Beautiful song. The release is spectacular, especially with that electric guitar. My only issue is that I think there should have been a second release.
Hard Life - Again not much to say. It's great.
Product of Society - Uninteresting. Don't really like the vocals on this one either.
E-Nuff - Interesting remix of the classic... it doesn't trump the original but it's good.
Painkiller - Fun tune. Not too interesting but fun nonetheless. Old school memories!
You Complete Me - Good, but the release is underwhelming. Very.
Forever Flying - Excellent breakbeat tune overall! Very well done.
Product of Society (Hardcore Society Mix) - Oh god I came. Best tune on the album!
Funk d'Hardcore - Interesting breakbeat. It's good.
